The Court of Appeal in Abuja has affirmed Martin Amaewhule and 24 other lawmakers as authentic members of the Rivers State House of Assembly
In a ruling delivered on Thursday, the three-man Appellate Court declared as null and void the expulsion of the 25 lawmakers by a Rivers State High Court.
The 25 reinstated lawmakers are loyalists of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesome Wike, who has been a running battle with his successor, Simi Fubara.
