A Kano State High Court, on Monday, restrained the deposed Emir of Kano, Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero and recently sacked Emirs of Rano, Karaye, Gaya and Bichi, from parading themselves as Emirs.

The five Emirs were removed following the dissolution of their Emirates by an Act of the Kano State House of Assembly, which was assented to by Governor Abba Yusuf last week.

The development led to the reinstatement of the 14th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who was removed by the immediate past administration in the state, as the new Emir of the ancient commercial city.
